It is the responsibility of decent men and women to guard against the unraveling of the social order. I take this responsibility very seriously, and with that in mind my goal is to point out the clear and present danger posed by the OPIM department. You may have thought this strictly rational group of individuals, these walking abacuses, would be the least likely candidates for concern, but I'm afraid the opposite is true. If you scratch beneath the surface you will discover, just as I did, that they are actually advancing a sleazy, sex-crazed agenda.
I first became suspicious during OPIM 621, the culmination of which was the ODI assignment that asked us to decide which of two contract options made the most economic sense. And what were the names of those contract options? The "naked" and the "three-way." Coincidence, you say? An innocent labeling error? Perhaps, if this had happened in isolation. But it did not.
Shortly thereafter, in the early days of OPIM 622, one of the first assignments was to construct a battery-operated device. For this exercise four distinct roles were assigned: someone to strip the wires (a stripper), someone to mount the wires (a mounter), another person to mount the wires (return of the three-way), and someone else to inspect the final result (a voyeur).
Now, I've done some light reading in neuro-linguistic programming over the years, so I think I can recognize the stratagem that was employed here. The idea is that you bring about the desired behavior by first creating a deceptively safe context, then by introducing words that prompt an individual to think about a theme that he or she would otherwise have been oblivious to.
In this way the new idea becomes gradually embedded in the individual's subconscious, and he or she begins to make an instinctive association between the idea and the individual or group that introduced it.
So I trust you can see what our OPIM instructors were up to. They just had to create a certain set of conditions and let everything else fall into place. Before anyone knew it, learning teams were instructing each other to "strip," to "hurry up and mount," to "stick it in quick", and to "check out what a good mounting job" they were doing. Thus, in very short order, many previously innocent students were transformed into shameless, unsalvageable perverts.
