On Friday, October 27th, the Marketing Club will host the 3rd Annual Wharton Marketing Conference. Intended to serve as an integral forum for the marketing community within and beyond Wharton, the conference provides access to the latest trends and research in the field, as well as an opportunity to build personal and professional networks.

Building on last year's success, this year's Conference will bring approximately 500 faculty, students and leading experts from the marketing field together under the theme, "Leading Change Through Innovation." The Conference will feature keynote speakers, Mike Polk (President, Unilever US), and Ashley McEvoy (General Manager of McNeil Consumers Division, McNeil Consumer & Specialty Pharmaceuticals).

Panel discussions will focus on relevant, contemporary trends in new product development, luxury goods, retail, brand social equity, and brand growth. "Back to Class" Sessions led by Wharton Marketing Professors Iacobucci and Bell will highlight cutting edge research, and company-sponsored breakfast chats and career fair will provide an opportunity for Wharton students to learn about careers in the industry.

Marketing has been integral to the Wharton brand since 1904, when the Wharton School became the first business school to offer a marketing curriculum. Since then, the school has maintained its position at the forefront of marketing studies and has continued to innovate around marketing research, management, and strategy. The Wharton School now has the largest, most cited and most published marketing department in the world.

To attend, register at the Marketing Club website, www.whartonmarketing.com/conference. All attendees are invited to the Kickoff Cocktail Party the evening prior to the conference, to be held at MBA Café in Jon M. Huntsman Hall, and to the full day's events on Friday at the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue.
