Response to the Open Letter on Pub Operations

By Anjani Jain, Vice Dean and Director of the Wharton School

In the wake of the circumstances I described in my e-mail, the organizational change in Pub operations became the only way for us to continue the use of alcohol under the University's liquor license in our current facility. Without belaboring the points I made in the e-mail, I'll address the concerns raised by the Pub managers at the end of their open letter.

By Colin Pan and Vivake Gupta, Co-Presidents of the Wharton Entrepreneurship Club

Five steps to improve MGMT

By Tim deGavre, WG'05

When I first sat in Managing People at Work, I was filled with optimism. Here would be a class on how to effectively deal with all of the diverse issues of managing an organization. I had come to business school to do just this: learn these skills in a risk free environment where we could fail without real lives or money at risk.
